1for3.org

1for3 creates sustainable projects in Aida Camp in Bethlehem and beyond that include academic and cultural education, media, water and food security, the right to play and to health care—basic human rights for every individual regardless of where they live.


Al-Haq

Al-Haq is an independent Palestinian non-governmental human rights organisation based in Ramallah, West Bank. Established in 1979 to protect and promote human rights and the rule of law in the Occupied Palestinian Territory (OPT), the organisation has special consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council.


Applied Research Institute Jerusalem/Society

Applied Research Institute Jerusalem/Society promotes sustainable development in the Occupied Palestinian Territories and self-reliance of the Palestinian people through greater control of their own resources. It assesses alternative options, policies, and strategies to conserve natural resources.


Friends of Wadi Foquin

Wadi Foquin is a village of 1,300 people about 5 miles southwest of Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank. Since 1948, in fact, fully three-quarters of the village’s land has been expropriated by the Israeli government. Dynamiting for settlement construction has also dried up many of the natural springs used for irrigation, and construction debris and raw sewage discharged from Betar Illit have contaminated fields and made them unsuitable for growing. 


Grassroots International works to create a just and sustainable world by building alliances with progressive movements that provide essential services and advance rights to land, water, and food. Working with allies and partners, they facilitate international linkages to support and amplify the Palestinian struggle for self-determination and peace with justice.


House of Water and Environment

House of Water and Environment (HWE) is a Palestinian not-for-profit NGO established in 2004. It promotes practical research into the current and future state of water resources and the environment in Palestine and across the region. HWE mobilizes local and international networks and partnerships to achieve a broader analysis of sustainable water resource development and better “governance” of the resource.


Jordan Valley Solidarity

Jordan Valley Solidarity campaign is a network of Palestinian grassroots community groups from all over the Jordan Valley and international supporters.  Our aims are to protect Palestinian existence and the unique environment of the Jordan Valley by building international support and supporting communities on the ground.


MAAN Development Center

MAAN Development Center is an independent Palestinian development and training institute invested in self-reliant initiatives and environmental projects that are community based. They work to improve the food security of the poorest and most marginalized sectors of the Palestinian society at the family and community level.


The Middle East Children’s Alliance

The Middle East Children’s Alliance (MECA) launched the Maia Project (Arabic for “water”) to provide Palestinian children with clean, safe drinking water. MECA is working in partnership with community organizations in Gaza to build water purification and desalination units in schools throughout the Gaza Strip. Palestinian Hydrology Group

The Palestinian Hydrology Group (PHG) is an independent specialized institution dedicated to the development and protection of water and environmental resources; to insure more public accessibility to adequate water supply sources and sanitary conditions; and to the development a proper information systems and technologies. 


Stop the Wall is a grassroots movement uniting the struggle of the popular committees in Palestinian villages, refugee camps, and cities struggling against the Wall and the settlements, and supporting the efforts of Palestinian civil society. See announcement on World Water Day 2016.
